Know Hunting Dates Before Riding

Hunting season is about to start, and the last thing we want is to drive all the way out to our chosen trails only to find it’s closed due to hunting–or worse yet, get out on the trails because we didn’t see the hunting signs when there are guns in the woods.  You can always check out the hunting schedule for SWFWMD properties at http://www.swfwmd.state.fl.us/recreation/events/closed-for-hunting.php. The Florida Sport Horse Club is dedicated to trail riding and the preservation of the many riding areas in central Florida. We ride every weekend and have many barbecues and campouts throughout year.
