We have to acknowledge Scott Spaulding, Park Manager of Lake Louisa, and his staff for the great trails and amenities for horse people. The trails have great markers, complete with numbers and arrows (we understand these are compliments of the Boy Scouts). The Equestrian campground has corrals with more being added. The Equestrian day parking has multiple hoses, hitching posts, and tie-outs. It makes a huge difference when the park management supports its user groups, as is evidenced by Lake Louisa’s popularity as a riding destination. Please be sure to thank the staff of our riding areas when you “catch” them doing well!
Kudos to Lake Louisa State Park staff

The Florida Sport Horse Club is dedicated to trail riding and the preservation of the many riding areas in central Florida. We ride every weekend and have many barbecues and campouts throughout year. We're family oriented and open to all breeds of horses. We are based primarily in Polk County, but have members from all over the state. We have been incorporated as a non-profit organization since 1988. View all posts by floridasporthorseclub
