Or at least in our prayers that cooler weather will soon arrive! It DID feel cooler this morning, with cloudy skies and occasional light showers as club members rode at Lower Green Swamp for the first time since Hurricane Irma. This is one of the most well-maintained riding areas we have, with all thanks going to manager Karen Warren and staff. Karen is a rider herself, with experience in what makes a great trail. Be sure you thank the staff when visiting, as well as signing in each time–proof of usage equals more resources!
Fall is in the air….

The Florida Sport Horse Club is dedicated to trail riding and the preservation of the many riding areas in central Florida. We ride every weekend and have many barbecues and campouts throughout year. We're family oriented and open to all breeds of horses. We are based primarily in Polk County, but have members from all over the state. We have been incorporated as a non-profit organization since 1988. View all posts by floridasporthorseclub
