When Your Horse is Down

It’s a terrible situation for horse owners when they face first the death of their animal and second what to do with the remains.  This dilemma came up at our last club meeting, and a few unique solutions were offered. One lady, in desperation, called a local septic tank company–they came out and dug the hole for her.  Our visitor contacted Ritchie’s Truck Repair in Mulberry (http://www.ritcheystruckrepair.com/ritchey_s_truck_repair.html) to dig the hole.  And a couple of members mentioned Dennis Ford (863-682-2569) who can either remove the remains from your property OR transport the horse before death to his property.  The horse will then be buried on Mr. Ford’s property.
