Florida Greenways and Trails System needs 2017 feedback

I love Horse & Pony News since I learn about events and news that I couldn’t get any other place, which is why I support the newspaper by renewing my subscription every year.  One example of this is on page 4 of the December 2016 issue (which can be read online at http://www.horseandponynews.com/onlinepaper/Default.html), about the Office of Florida Greenways and Trails System updating its trails plan and maps.  The office will hold a number of public workshops in 2017 to go over the drafts and allow for us to voice our opinions.  All equestrians who ride the Greenway will be affected by the new plans, so it behooves us to share our concerns, needs, and interest.  We will announce the meetings as we learn about them; you can read the existing plan at http://www.dep.state.fl.us/gwt/FGTS_Plan/default.htm.

The Florida Sport Horse Club is dedicated to trail riding and the preservation of the many riding areas in central Florida. We ride every weekend and have many barbecues and campouts throughout year.
