Our NEW Colt Creek State Park day parking!

It’s not officially open yet, but Colt Creek manager Scott Duncan allowed us to use the new equestrian day parking area today for the joint Triple B/Florida Sport Horse Club ride. Somewhere around 10 rigs parked here, so we were able to meet up with the campers for a wonderful ride.  The weather was perfect–and even a bit cool with that breeze!–with good company and lots of sun. THANKS AGAIN to all those who came out to help clear the area, and especially to Gerry Von Ehr for his invaluable tractor work.

The Florida Sport Horse Club is dedicated to trail riding and the preservation of the many riding areas in central Florida. We ride every weekend and have many barbecues and campouts throughout year. We're family oriented and open to all breeds of horses. We are based primarily in Polk County, but have members from all over the state. We have been incorporated as a non-profit organization since 1988.
